Kid Athletes: Tales of Childhood from Sports Legends

I bought several copies of this for the young athletes, in our family. They had favorites, in the book, and have enjoyed the read! This was just another way to expose our kids to great athletes and it shows how they, too, have everyday lives and struggles.

Children should read biographies to get inspired by other people’s experiences in life. That’s why the “Kid Athletes: True Tales of Childhood from Sports Legends” makes an excellent 8th birthday gift idea. Kids will find out that Danica Patrick, the race car champion, fended off bullies who told her “girls can’t drive,” that the baseball legend Babe was a troublemaker, and more. The stories are described along with full-color cartoon illustrations on every page.
