Organic Chemistry for Babies Board book
The illustrations are simple and child-friendly. The cover illustrates a great example, as it depicts pacifiers in the shape of cyclohexane. I love that it breaks down a complex topic into its most simplest of parts. He really opens up the topic for younger children whom might not have otherwise had any exposure to this topic until college.
Written by an expert, Organic Chemistry for Babies is a colorfully simple introduction to the structure of organic, carbon-containing compounds and materials. Babies (and grownups!) be one step ahead of pre-med students. Co-written by Cara Florance, who has a PhD in Biochemistry and a BS in Chemistry with work experience in astrobiololgy and radiation decontamination. With a tongue-in-cheek approach that adults will love, this installment of the Baby University board book series is the perfect way to introduce basic concepts to even the youngest scientists. After all, it's never too early to become a scientist!
